Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and helper, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care in a respectful and nurturing environment. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support medication administration following care plans and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Assist with transportation for medical appointments or community outings, ensuring safe personal transportation assistance Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care including Alzheimer's and memory care strategies, and hospice or home health experience preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary for patient transfer or mobility support Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Hoyer lift training or medication administration are a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly valued Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for assisting clients outside the home Join us in making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving! Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
