Full Job Description Job Overview:
SECOND SHIFT ONLY!
!!!! 2-11pm Service Disabled Veterans Oasis (SDVO) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves working in a variety of settings, including assisted living facilities, memory care units, and in-home care environments. This is a 90-day contract position with SDVO under a 1099 status , after which successful candidates will transition to a full-time W2 role directly with the client . While contracted with SDVO, you will be paid on Net 30 terms based on a two-week billing cycle .
Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders Provide emotional support and companionship Monitor and promptly report changes in physical or mental condition to healthcare professionals Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment Encourage and facilitate participation in recreational, educational, and community activities
Qualifications:
Experience in direct care, senior care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Ability to deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic cooking and household management skills Familiarity with patient monitoring or care documentation is a plus You must have a clean U.S. driving history for the past 3 years - no exceptions Valid driver's license required No Felonies (No Exceptions) Why Join SDVO?
