As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, autism, and other needs. This position requires a commitment to patient care, ensuring that clients receive the attention and support they deserve in various settings such as home care, assisted living facilities, or group homes. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals. Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and security. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to create personalized care plans. Skills Experience in social work or related fields is highly valued. Certified Medication Technician Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus. Previous experience in home care or assisted living settings is beneficial. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
