The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, and home health services, with a focus on promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As a Personal Care Support, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities. The client is non-verbal, (I gaze, Vocalization) and semi-mobile with no behavioral issues.

3:00pm-9:30pm

Pay Rate:

$25/hour

Training:

On the Job Training Provided Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Hoyer Lift Required (No lifting) Make sure client is walking as much as possible. Follow all safety protocols including manual handling techniques, first aid procedures, CPR certification, and hospice or home health guidelines to ensure client safety at all times. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. Knowledge of manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques is essential. Requirements First aid and CPR Certifications are required.
