Responsibilities may include:

Personal care and assistance with daily activities Companionship and social engagement Meal preparation Light housekeeping Mobility, walking and transfer assistance as appropriate Encouraging client independence and participation in activities Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment Observing and promptly reporting changes in a client's condition Completing required visit documentation Communicating with the RN Supervisor and care team Following infection-control, safety and agency procedures Caregivers work within their assigned scope and care plan. Clinical assessments and independent medical decision-making are not part of this role. Medication administration is not permitted unless the employee holds the appropriate certification and is specifically authorized to perform the service. What We're Looking For Compassionate, dependable and professional Caregiving or home care experience preferred Maryland CNA certification welcomed, but not required for all caregiver positions Current CPR certification Strong communication skills Ability to complete required documentation Ability to pass required background and employment screening Ability to travel to clients' homes Reliable transportation strongly preferred Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of assigned client care Service Area Current opportunities are available throughout Rockville, Potomac and surrounding Montgomery County communities.
