This role involves working closely with patients in various settings, including home care. Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Monitor patients' health by observing their physical and emotional condition. Perform patient observation to detect any changes in behavior or health status. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient needs and changes. Document care provided and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is a plus; certification is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for patient mobility assistance. Familiarity with long-term care practices and patient monitoring techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
