Available Shifts:
3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Friday - Sunday The Meadows is a small 16 bed residential care facility in Old Town, Maine that offers a comfortable, convenient and gracious assisted living environment and support services promoting maximum independence for its residents. Resident services include individual care planning, assistance with activities of daily living, nutritious meals, assistance in securing medical attention, provision for home health and other services, arranging social and leisure activities, and more. We are seeking a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join our dedicated staff at the Meadows in Old Town. The PSS provides personal care to residents according to their needs and service plan; assistance with housekeeping, laundry services, and food service.
The perfect candidate will:
Hold a High School diploma or GED. Have at least one year experience providing personal care to older persons preferred. Contribute to a positive work environment, interacting with staff, public and others in a positive, productive manner, using tact and discretion. • Pass a background check and maintain a record that is free from criminal convictions for crimes against persons, including, without limitation, theft, abuse, neglect or sexual misconduct. • Pass a State of Maine background check as required by DHHS.
