Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, through the implementation of behavior management strategies.
  • Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed protocols.
  • Support residents in daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance.
  • Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Promote resident rights and ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and resident progress.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with diverse needs, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and ability to implement them effectively.
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and ability to follow prescribed guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility as needed.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings.
