Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies, promoting safety and engagement Administer medication following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for residents and staff Engage in behavior management techniques to support residents with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident areas Experience Prior assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred, especially within nursing homes or residential care homes Demonstrated experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities or developmental disabilities Knowledge of resident rights, dementia care practices, and geriatrics principles Certification in CPR and First Aid is required to ensure immediate response capability during emergencies Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safe patient lifting practices is essential Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to promote a positive care environment Join us in providing compassionate, energetic care that truly transforms lives!
