University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Brighton, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals by assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence in a respectful and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help clients with mobility and transfer tasks safely. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence. Perform light housekeeping and errands to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to supervisory staff. Maintain accurate records of care and services provided. Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and team members. Requirements Previous experience in direct care or home health is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully. Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic. Must be able to pass a background check. Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is a plus.
