Job Title:
Night Shift Direct Care Professional Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Shift Direct Care Professional to provide personalized residential care for individuals with special needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of residents during overnight hours. This role involves medication administration, light housekeeping, and meal preparation to support a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care to residents during overnight shifts, ensuring their safety and comfort. Administer medications accurately according to prescribed instructions. Assist residents with daily living activities as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Prepare meals and snacks in accordance with dietary plans. Monitor residents' health status and report any concerns to supervisory staff. Document care activities and resident observations accurately. Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent needs during the shift.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in residential or healthcare settings preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Flexibility to work overnight shifts from 7:00pm•7:00am or 11:00pm•7:00am. Must be reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing quality care.
Pay:
$17.00•$19.00 per hour
