This Role:

As a Medication Technician , you'll play a vital role in providing essential daily care to older adults, ensuring their well-being, dignity, and comfort. If you thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment and love building connections with residents , this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities Administer Medications & Treatments

• Pass medications and provide treatments safely according to care plans. Provide Hands-On Care
• Assist residents with personal care (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support Mealtime
• Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for overall health. Promote Mobility
• Assist with turning, positioning, and safe transfers to keep residents moving safely. Perform Vital Checks
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output. Maintain Comfort & Care
• Keep residents' rooms tidy, cozy, and stocked with essentials. Respond to Resident Needs
• Answer call lights promptly and provide compassionate support. Monitor Resident Conditions
• Report any changes to the leadership team immediately. Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism
• Maintain confidentiality while delivering high-quality care.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in medical assisting or a related field is a plus.

Experience:

Prior experience in a healthcare setting, especially working with seniors or in long-term care, is highly preferred.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds independently.

Technical skills:

Familiarity with Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) systems is a plus.

Medication administration:
