Job Description
Job Summary This position is with the His Spot for Tots Child Care Center. The Lead Caregiver/Teacher will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the classroom program and child assessment. They report directly to the Program Director and to the His Spot for Tots Advisory Board when required. His Spots for Tots is a ministry of First Baptist Church. Applicants must be ok with working in a faith based environment. Duties Oversee caregiver staff for a specific group of children and overall care and supervision of children. Assist in development of program policies, procedures, and service objectives. Provide care to assigned group for a minimum of 6 hours per day. Assist in monitoring and evaluating caregiver staff. Maintenance of classroom, including equipment and supplies. Assist in providing training and supervision for program staff to ensure effective program operations and quality service to targeted families. Responsible for daily communication with parents concerning child's well-being.

- Requirements CDA credentials and 480 hours of experience, or an Associate's degree in early childhood development.
