Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students with this rewarding school-based contract role. This position, located in the Coldwater, MI area, runs from August 24, 2026 to June 4, 2027, offering 35 onsite hours per week in a supportive educational setting. As a vital resource for students, you'll collaborate with staff, families, and other providers to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive socially and emotionally. Key Qualifications:
Active Michigan social work license required Experience working as a school social worker or providing social work services in educational settings Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Ability to develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions Deep understanding of school systems, child development, and trauma-informed practices
Primary Responsibilities:
