Serenity Home care is looking for a dynamic caregiver for a client that is located in Hartland [Livingston County]. Must have experience with one-on-one care, in-home care, personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, bathing assistance, transfers, and other hands-on care.

Shifts are a combination of:

7:00 AM

• 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM
• 5:00 PM, & 6:00 PM
• 9:00 PM This specific case is for a 49 y/o male client with Multiple Sclerosis & paraplegia.

In need of assistance with transfers [both pivot transfers & use of hoyer], emptying catheter, showering with secondary person for assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping. There are 2 cats in home. CNA Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes Caregiver, Home Health Aide and/or

CNA Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Licensed driver with an insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance MUST pass background check Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
