Job Description

BRIGHTON LOCATION
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Med Tech to support residents in a senior living/healthcare setting in our
BRIGHTON LOCATION
Independent Living Facility! The Med Tech's primary focus is safe, accurate medication administration plus basic resident support. Key Responsibilities Safely administer medications per provider orders and document in the MAR. Monitor residents for medication side effects/changes and report concerns promptly. Assist with ADLs as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care). Support residents with mobility and transfers , following all safety and fall-prevention practices. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including light housekeeping related to care. Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members; follow care plans and policies. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications At least 18 years old . High school diploma or GED . Hands-on experience passing meds in a senior care or similar setting. Able to pass a criminal background check (and any required drug screen). Experience working with older adults . Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers. Reliable transportation in and around Sterling Heights, MI. Able to work a consistent schedule, including every other weekend (and some holidays). Strong communication and interpersonal skills ; dependable and team-oriented.
