Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for both residents and staff. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and any incidents or changes in condition. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with special needs preferred Experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in home or community settings. Familiarity with medication administration, basic first aid/CPR certification is essential. Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments enhances your ability to deliver compassionate support. Ability to perform lifting of at least 50 pounds safely and handle manual tasks required for resident transfers and mobility assistance.
