Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to behavioral individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries helping them lead fulfilling lives while promoting their independence and dignity. You will work closely with clients to assist them in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to resident rights and dignity. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering positive relationships. Assist clients in participating in community activities and social events to enhance their quality of life. Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff members. Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with case managers, guardians, and healthcare professionals i to ensure comprehensive care.
