Provide caring, respectful support to clients in their homes, including companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal assistance, medication reminders, transportation/errands when needed, and helping clients remain safe and comfortable at home.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check. Caregiving experience is preferred, but we are also looking for the right heart, dependability, and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor client health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report any concerns promptly Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized memory care techniques and ensuring their safety Prepare nutritious meals and snacks aligned with dietary needs; ensure cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Document observations, care provided, and any changes in condition accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and community involvement Qualifications Prior experience in home care, assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others Flexibility to work various shifts including short shifts that fit your schedule
