Hiring at several locations in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton county for all shifts. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury for both residents and staff Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition according to individual care plans Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas, adhering to hygiene standards and infection control protocols Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments is preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support, memory care strategies, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required or obtainable upon hire (training provided on the job) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely Join us in providing compassionate care that enhances quality of life for our residents.
