Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitation Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents or patients with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia & Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in HIPAA compliance is preferred Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility; comfort working with residents who have complex health conditions Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams Prior experience working with residents' care plans and medication administration is highly desirable Join us to provide compassionate caregiving that truly transforms lives!
