Position:
Special Education Paraeducator (Personal Care Aide)
Location:
Page Elementary Tuesdays & Wednesdays 6.75 hours per day School days only
Qualifications:
1. High School graduate 2. Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs. 3. Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention preferred (will provide if necessary)
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide individual student support in a Least Restrictive Environment 2. Provide assistance with toileting 3. Assist student with medical needs 4. Document student behavior on a daily basis 5. Redirect student behavior and reinforce appropriate behavior throughout the school day 6. Have the ability to work positively with students, teachers and parents 7. Excellent communication skills 8. Experience working with students with special needs preferred 9. Willingness to work as part of a team of professionals
