Job Description
Job Overview Refined Home Care has immediate openings for caregivers in Midland, MI. The position is part-time, with the potential to lead to full-time for the right candidate. Caregivers are responsible for providing care and assistance to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support patients with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts as needed Assist with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, cleaning, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and comfortable environment Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals/supervisor Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Qualifications MUST have a driver's license, own vehicle, and proof of insurance, as some individuals may need to be transported to shopping, appointments, etc. Availability Sunday-Saturday Availability weekends and evenings, if needed Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is essential CPR and First Aid certification are preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is desired Ability to work independently while following healthcare plans and protocols Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation
