Responsibilities Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Monitor and document vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes promptly to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen. Administer medications accurately following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and managing home safety protocols. Document care activities thoroughly in accordance with healthcare regulations and assist in updating personalized care plans regularly. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or senior populations. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary for patient transfers or mobility assistance. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality and privacy of all client information. Valid driver's license or reliable transportation. is required.
