This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the care and assistance they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being. Aid in mobility and transportation for clients as needed, including heavy lifting when required. Administer CPR or first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols at all times. Support clients with hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort during challenging times. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members or healthcare professionals. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or home community care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with CPR techniques is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. A clean background check is essential for this role.
