Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Ensure safe patient lifting practices during transfers and manual handling to prevent injury for both residents and staff Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and meal preparation Observe and report changes in residents' behavior or health status promptly to the healthcare team Qualifications Prior assisted living experience or background in nursing home, retirement home, or residential care settings preferred Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's care, or memory care needs Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices required Ability to operate a standard passenger car for transportation purposes is a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics highly valued Join us in creating a caring community where every resident receives the respect and attention they deserve.
