Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early education, and behavioral management Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, child supervision protocols, and mandated reporting laws Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns Assist with infant care routines such as feeding, diapering, and soothing as needed Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized caregiving tailored to their needs Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while following daycare or classroom standards Requirements Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education practices Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; ongoing training in childhood safety is preferred Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and physical development Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations Previous experience in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is highly desirable Join our team to make a meaningful difference!
