Management Consultant (SVP, Corporate Applications SAP Systems Manager - Finance) in Southfield, MI.
Duties:
Lead Financial Application support and automation of: Core S4HC modules, with primary focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as General Ledger; Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Billing; Fixed Assets; Professional Services/Projects modules; and banking integration using SAP's Multi-bank connector. SAP Concur modules, including Concur Expense, Travel; and Invoice solutions that are the primary engines for capturing Supplier and Employee Costs, exclusive of Payroll. Develop solutions to leverage S4HC applications functionality for the above listed applications. Leverage automated RPA solutions with UiPath "Bot" tool. Provide 2nd/3rd level application support and execute the day-to-day maintenance activities, leveraging Help Desk and SAP tools. Plan and coordinate key activities with business around support; areas for improvement; and areas for expansion (projects). Manage and maintain a backlog of requested enhancements, fixes and system improvements using a Sprint board including developing and implementing User Stories. Manage vendor and offshore teams involved in AMS operational support. Perform business process mapping and fit-gap analysis and solution design. Guide technical team in the development of reports, conversions, interfaces, and extensions for Financial Applications or if you have the right technical skills, maintain, and develop new technologies. Lead and perform functional, unit system integrations testing for sprint items, as well as cutover and production deployment activities. Lead and prepare training content and deliver end-user training as needed. Accountable for developing and maintaining functional and system documentation. Lead and support the planning, preparation and execution of upgrades and releases. Plan and take part in system upgrade testing. Support robust change management programs to increase adoption of the financial solutions. Support security aspects of financial applications that covers provisioning users, coordinating system certificates for authentication of Single Sign On, and application Integration. Support and coordinate Accounting and Finance key events such as monthly, quarterly, and annual close; Finance Budget and Forecast cycles; and special projects such as new legal entities or acquisitions. Review future release notes for financial applications and providing input to the Accounting, Finance and Travel Services leadership team of the impact and functionality of release. Train Accounting, Finance and Travel staff and employees on various supported technologies, as needed. Plan and participate in various projects and initiatives as identified, aiming to improve and/or expand the utilization of the SAP S4HC, Concur or other product suite inclusive of new Companies as AlixPartners continues to grow. Serve as knowledge expert on leading industry trends and system features to provide the business the best solutions for their needs. Requires a Master's degree in Information Systems, Finance or related field, plus 3 years of experience in SAP software, SAP ERP Systems and Solutions, Financial Analysis and Business analysis. Must have 3 years of experience with the following skills: Overseeing development release activities (transport and deployment coordination) for SAP landscapes including ECC and BW, SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), and related change pipelines. Coordinating release windows, managing transport sequences, and working with DevOps teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate release readiness through SIT and UAT; Owning incident and problem management using ServiceNow ticketing: triaging and resolving customer issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions to eliminate repeat incidents, and monitoring system SLAs. Coordinating with Infrastructure teams for non-disruptive platform upgrades and with IT Security and SAP GRC/role-based access controls to ensure data security and compliance; Maintaining and producing user access, operational queries, and Excel-connected SAP reports (Interactive Excel, BEx Analyzer, and SAP BW). Managing role provisioning and access reviews, building/optimizing report queries, and supporting end-user reporting needs and troubleshooting; Managing medium to large cross-functional projects (Agile and waterfall): developing project plans, business cases, risk assessments, cost estimates, and cutover plans; leading stakeholder communications, testing (SIT and UAT), and production rollouts across finance and integration teams; and JIRA or ServiceNow for issue tracking, Microsoft Project or Excel for planning, and Confluence or SharePoint for documentation. As an alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance or related field, plus 5 years of experience in SAP software, SAP ERP Systems and Solutions, Financial Analysis and Business analysis.
