Job Description

Live-in caregiver position offered through Affordable Home Care requiring 14 days of work a month. The monthly schedule is an every other week rotation as follows:

Week 1 & 3 - Wednesday arriving 9am stay through Saturday morning at 9am
Week 2 & 4 - Wednesday arriving at 9am stay through Sunday morning at 9am.

This results in a consistent 40 hours and 8-24 hours of overtime pay per week. Client is an 81yo male who is a high functioning autistic individual with a strong family and professional support system. His current caregiver is relocating and will personally be involved in training the selected individual. Mainly needing reminders and light supervision. Client baths, toilets, and walks independently. This is a very stable client who is in good health and has been working with Affordable Home Care for more than 10 years.

STARTS September 21st 2026
Client's Specific Care Needs:
prep morning breakfast & give morning meds
throughout day take to appointments if there are any
lunch is light snack
prep dinner & do evening meds
client likes going out for meals on occasion or order take-out
do laundry & clean as you go

Qualifications:

previous experience caregiving
experience in working with autistic individuals is preferred but not required
valid driver's license and reliable transportation
clean criminal record
