Caregiving Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals interested in working Afternoon / Evening shifts (4p-12a) and overnight shifts (12a-8a), to join our team as Direct Care Workers in the downriver area. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with transportation needs, including driving individuals to appointments or outings
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any observations or incidents

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities is preferred but not necessary
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of caregiving systems and best practices for providing quality care
• Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
