Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety in a home care environment. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while lifting or repositioning them as needed. Monitor and record vital signs as required, reporting any changes in health status to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests. Provide first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. Experience Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus. Basic knowledge of vital signs monitoring and first aid practices is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
