Direct Care Worker - Part-Time 2nd and 3rd Shifts Green Acres of Wayland - Assisted Living Community Wayland, MI Join a Team That Truly Cares Do you have a heart for helping others? At Green Acres of Wayland , we believe in creating a warm, family-like environment where both our residents and our employees feel valued and supported. We are currently seeking Part-Time Direct Care Workers / Med Passers to provide compassionate care and daily support to our elderly residents. Available Shifts 2nd Shift (Evenings) 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 24-32 hours per week $17.00 per hour 3rd Shift (Nights) 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM 24-32 hours per week $18.00 per hour Schedules include every other weekend and a holiday rotation . Your Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating Administer medications ( training provided ) Follow residents' individualized care plans and healthcare needs Provide emotional support and companionship Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to pass a criminal background check Compassionate, dependable, and patient No license required — paid on-the-job training provided Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday rotation
