We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to join our team at our Ypsilanti locations .

Training Completion Increase:

Afternoon Shift:

4:00 PM

•12:00

AM Midnight Shift:

12:00 AM

•8:00 AM Weekend and holiday availability is required. Applicants MUST have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive as part of the position. Job Responsibilities As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide hands-on support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a 6-bed group home setting . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing compassionate, person-centered care and support Assisting residents with activities of daily living Providing 100% hands-on care to all residents, including: Brief changes Toileting Showering and bathing Dressing Feeding Preparing and serving meals and providing dining assistance Administering medications as prescribed and according to established procedures Completing daily cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary home environment Engaging residents in enjoyable activities that encourage socialization and overall well-being Supporting residents with dignity, patience, and respect Qualifications To be considered for a Direct Care Worker position, applicants must: Be at least 18 years of age Have a High School Diploma or GED Have a valid Driver's License Be able to successfully complete a criminal background check Be dependable, responsible, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care Be willing to work weekends and holidays Minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed group home Why Join Pathlight Community Services?
