In this vital role, you will support residents with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment. Your energy and commitment will foster a positive atmosphere that encourages growth, dignity, and comfort for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety procedures Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and performing routine cleaning tasks Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings Strong knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care techniques Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations Skilled in safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to home & community care or transportation needs Join us if you're passionate about providing empathetic, high-quality care that enhances the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
