Key Responsibilities:
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Provide standby assistance. Help prepare meals. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing. Maintain accurate records of care provided. Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional health to family members or healthcare providers. Provide transportation for errands, appointments, etc.
Qualifications:
Ability to arrive on time and maintain a dependable work schedule is required. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields, such as home/community care or assisted living, is preferred. Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus. Knowledge of care plans and their implementation is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy when interacting with clients. Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. CPR or First Aid certification is preferred but not required. Ability to pass background checks as mandated by state regulations. Must be over 21 years of age
