Ensure the safety of children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to childhood development best practices. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols. Support children with disabilities or special needs by providing tailored care and encouragement. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times in accordance with individual care plans. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs. Strong communication skills for parent updates and team collaboration. Experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children, including toddler care and preschooler activities. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
