Job Description

• We offer a GREAT incentive program as well. If you meet the incentive program guidelines, you receive $2/hr, the base would be $18.00 for HHA and $19.00 for CNA. This enclouds differential pay.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening Caregiver to support residents during afternoon and evening routines in our assisted living community. This role is essential in ensuring residents feel comfortable, safe, and cared for as they transition from daytime activities into a restful evening.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist residents with afternoon and evening routines, including toileting, dressing, and personal care Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance Serve dinner and assist with feeding as needed, following dietary guidelines Support residents during activities and social engagement in the evening Assist with evening hygiene and bedtime preparation Provide medication reminders in accordance with facility policies Monitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, or mood and report concerns promptly Promote independence while ensuring resident safety and dignity Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support Maintain a clean, calm, and organized environment Complete documentation and communicate effectively with team members Follow care plans, safety procedures, and state regulations
Qualifications:
Previous caregiving or assisted living experience preferred (training provided) CNA certification a plus but not required (depending on state requirements) Compassionate, dependable, and patient Ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass background check and meet state requirements
