Job Description
Job Summary Boundless Care LLC is seeking a dependable, patient, and compassionate caregiver to provide Individualized Home Supports (IHS) with Training and Homemaking services to an adult client in Edina. This position focuses on helping the client maintain independence, manage daily routines, keep a safe and organized home, and participate in community activities. Staff should provide encouragement, guidance, and hands-on support while allowing the client to remain involved in decisions and daily tasks. Duties Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning Help with laundry and household organization Assist with preparing simple meals Provide step-by-step guidance with daily routines Help build and maintain independent living skills Assist with scheduling and planning weekly activities Provide transportation or help the client access transportation Support community outings and appointments Assist with participation in meaningful community activities Help maintain a safe and clutter-free home environment Provide reminders, encouragement, and gentle redirection when tasks become overwhelming Support safe mobility and fall awareness during outings Encourage the client to make choices and remain as independent as possible Complete required service documentation Report concerns or changes to the appropriate supervisor Qualifications Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible Must be patient, respectful, and compassionate Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to follow service plans and complete required documentation Must be comfortable assisting with homemaking and community-based activities Must be able to follow written service plans and company policies Caregiving, DSP, PCA, IHS, homemaking, or similar experience preferred Ability to provide reliable transportation preferred Must be able to pass required background checks and meet applicable DHS requirements Join our team to provide impactful support that empowers individuals with disabilities to thrive!
