We patiently care for the loved ones entrusted in our care. Patience In Home Care provides home care nursing services for people with complex medical needs in the North Twin Cities Metro (Anoka County and surrounding areas). Description 1:1 Personal Care Assistant / PCA (Fridley, MN) Job type Monday

  • Needs assistance with getting dressed and ready for work. Tuesday
  • 8am•2pm•Needs the PCA to go to his home and get him ready for swim class and ride along to Camp Kenny.
While there, the PCA would provide assistance to the client along with possibly going into the pool with him if possible, but not required. Description We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient's homes in accordance with an established care plan. We can offer flexible scheduling to accommodate preferred hours. Why PIHC? Responsibilities Provide health care services in patient's residence Perform domestic and household tasks (i.e., light housekeeping & laundry) Assist with client's personal care activities (showering, dressing, etc.) Maintain patients care records and document provided services Able to help client get dressed for swimming and able to go into the water with the client. Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills and Requirements Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Caring and compassionate personality Helpful Skills Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant including bathing and toileting. Health care administration skills
