Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws when necessary Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update on progress, concerns, or special needs Maintain a safe environment by applying first aid and CPR techniques when required Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation Experience Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Demonstrated ability to plan age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and social skills Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood education or youth programs are a plus
