Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated caregiving team as a Caregiver Assignment, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals across various care settings. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and clients by delivering exceptional support with dignity and respect. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, monitoring health and safety, and ensuring a comfortable environment for those in your care. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere that promotes independence and well-being. Duties Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, administering medications, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Support mobility and transfers using manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and care plans Provide emotional support through active listening, engaging communication, and companionship to promote mental well-being Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to deliver specialized support Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or home health environments is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfers using appropriate methods and equipment Strong understanding of resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary care teams Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated caregiving! Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
