About Care Crafters:
Care Crafters is a trusted Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) provider dedicated to helping individuals maintain safety, comfort, and independence in their own homes. We take pride in delivering compassionate, personalized support and building lasting relationships with the clients and families we serve.
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable Homemakers / IHS Providers to join our team in Mound, MN. In this role, you will assist clients with essential homemaking tasks and offer individualized home support services. Your efforts will make a meaningful impact by ensuring that each client's living environment is both welcoming and supportive.
What You'll Do:
Homemaking Services:
Perform light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, laundry) and basic meal preparation Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable environment tailored to each client's preferences Monitor client safety and provide supervision to ensure a secure home setting Individualized Home Support (IHS): Engage with clients in community activities such as going to the gym, bowling, or attending local events they enjoy Assist with daily tasks like setting up appointments, understanding paperwork (e.g., bills), and building routines for greater independence Provide companionship, encouragement, and socialization to help clients actively participate in their community and enjoy meaningful activities Document client progress, and communicate changes or concerns to supervisors
Qualifications:
Previous experience in home care, housekeeping, or caregiving is helpful but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
