What You'll Do As an HHA/PCA, you'll play an important role in helping our residents thrive by: Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility) Encouraging independence while providing the right level of support Assisting with meals and hydration Observing residents and reporting changes to the nursing team Building positive relationships with residents and their families Supporting residents with behavioral and mental health needs using compassion, patience, and respect Working closely with nurses and other caregivers to provide exceptional care We're Looking For Someone Who... Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people Is dependable and works well as part of a team Has strong communication skills Is patient, compassionate, and respectful Enjoys helping others succeed Is willing to learn and grow Experience is appreciated, but we are happy to train the right person with the right heart. Qualifications Current Minnesota HHA, PCA, CNA, or related caregiving experience preferred Ability to pass a background study Ability to assist residents with daily activities Excellent attendance and reliability Why Valleyview?
