Job Description

Job Overview Horizon Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Resident Caregiver (RCG) to join our team. This role is scheduled for evening shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM, totaling 48 hours per pay period. The RCG will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a compassionate environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily activities such as toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene to promote independence and dignity. Provide resident cares including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed. Pass medications accurately and in accordance with established protocols. Perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members. Support residents emotionally by offering companionship and respectful communication during your shift. Skills Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to care for others. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols. Basic understanding of medication administration and resident care procedures. Flexibility to work evening hours and adapt to the needs of residents. Prior experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
