This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring health and safety, and creating a nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving, ensuring each individual receives the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through meaningful conversation and social interaction. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards. Provide medication reminders. Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in meaningful activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces. Document patient observations and communicate effectively with office staff. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's. Experience in home & community care environments or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
