Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities in West Saint Paul MN. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, particularly with elderly and people with disabilities. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and personalized care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient monitoring to ensure safety and well-being. Support individuals with autism by implementing tailored care plans and engaging in meaningful activities. Assist clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring as necessary. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized. Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Qualifications Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Must pass a Department of Human Services State of Minnesota background check study.
