Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and assistance to individuals with various needs, including those with autism, memory care requirements, and other developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support. We currently have an opening in the following areas: CLA 611•This position consists of two 6 shifts every other weekend. CLA 604•This position consists of 5 hour shifts every other weekend.
CLA 1381
•This position consists of evening shifts throughout the week and every other weekend. An average of 33 hours a week.
CLA 1381
•This position consists of 8 hour evening shifts every other weekend.
CLA 1060
•The positions consists of two 6 hour shifts every other weekend. Duties As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implementing individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Providing emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' well-being. Supporting clients in social activities and community engagement to foster independence. Monitoring clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks as needed. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in human services or related fields providing direct care Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to specific dietary requirements of clients. A patient, empathetic approach towards caregiving is essential for success in this role.
