Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be responsible for implementing care plans, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting resident rights while fostering a nurturing environment. We are seeking dedicated caregivers for a variety of clients in the STL region. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary. Ensure the safety and comfort of clients by maintaining a clean and organized living space. Advocate for resident rights and maintain client confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred. Familiarity with group home settings or similar environments is a plus. Knowledge of care plans and medication administration practices is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility needs. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A background in nursing or related fields may be beneficial but is not required.
