Job Description
Summary This position is responsible for the direct support aspects Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Functions Participates in fulfilling the corporate mission. Responsible for working directly with persons served to increase their independence. Responsible for following programs and objectives established in the individual's plan. Responsible for data collection regarding objectives. Responsible for maintaining CARF standards that apply to the direct support of Individuals. May also work in other programs as needed. Responsible for assisting in gathering data for outcome measurement. Completes all required documentation in an efficient and timely manner. Prepares reports and documents as needed. Does special projects as assigned by Manager. Responsible for assisting persons served with personal care needs as required. Responsible for housekeeping. Promotes participation and involvement in the community. Administers medication to individuals as assigned. Participates as a team member. Administers First Aid as required. Treats all persons served and staff with dignity and respect. Responsible for reporting any irregularities observed concerning care and support of persons served. Maintains rapport with family's funders and support coordinators and other stakeholders. Supports department managers in their efforts to maintain smooth and efficient operation of their department within the context of corporate policies and procedures. Assists in reporting required data to other departments as needed. Reports to Management and CEO regarding the state of their department and any internal or external issues that might affect the corporation. Must uphold and enforce policies and procedures of the corporation. Does not knowingly expose the corporation to unnecessary risk. Interacts with other departments and resources to assure that programs, services and supports as well as business and professional performance reflect best practices in the industry. Must maintain the confidentiality of all consumer records and situations. These must be discussed only with Management and the CEO.
