Overview HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a safe environment Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and routines Use equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents clearly and promptly in accordance with healthcare protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care plans Follow safety procedures including CPR, first aid, and emergency response protocols to ensure client safety at all times Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia required Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement essential Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Experience using care equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts advantageous Strong understanding of infection control practices including cleaning protocols and hospice or home health care standards Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals requiring long-term or hospice care is highly valued Join us in providing exceptional caregiving that transforms lives!
